A Los Angeles native, he played high school football at Oaks Christian School and was named USA Today’s High School Football Defensive Player of the Year in 2018. The NFL Draft is in full swing, and this year’s brightest prospects are ready to cross that stage and move on in their professional football careers.

The Draft is set for the first time in Las Vegas, and it’s the perfect place for the nation’s top football stars to look their best on the infamous Las Vegas Strip near the historic Bellagio fountains.

The draft has always been home to flashy looks over the years. Philadelphia’s Devonta Smith was recently selected as the Draft-Day Outfit Champion. The No. 10 pick in last year’s draft faced off against Hall of Famer Deion Sanders in the final round with a 54% to 46% win and this year’s latest look would come after his crown.

Kyvan Thibodaux had an outstanding college career at the University of Oregon. The uber-talented Edge rusher was the 2021 First Team AP All-American, 2-time First Team All Pac-12, and the recipient of the 2020 Morris Trophy, an annual award given to the top defensive lineman in the Pac-12. He was a constant nightmare of opposing offensive lines and coordinators alike.

Despite all these accolades, the NFL Mock Draft has mixed opinions as to where he will be drafted. some ridicule had raised him so high.

According to Senior Bowl Executive Director Jim Nagy, the Seattle Seahawks also sent a group of seven, while the New York Giants sent five. Giants general manager Joe Shoen was reportedly in attendance.

When it came time to meet with the media after the workout, Thibodaux was asked what was the most ridiculous thing he heard during the predraft process. his reaction?

“That I’m not the best player in this draft,” he said. There are several talented edge-rushers in this year’s class, including Aidan Hutchinson of Michigan, who is currently viewed as the best of them all.

Thibodaux also recounts his pro day in full, speaking with NFL Network’s Michael Yam.

“I mean it was great. It was weird because it was like 200 people just watching me work. But, I think it was great,” Thibodaux said. “I was able to really demonstrate my linebacker practice, my rush, my hands, my legs, you know, everything that I was working on taking it forward.”

Cryptocurrency

Oregon star defensive end Kyvan Thibodaux is benefiting from the NCAA’s new name, image and likeness rules.

On Thursday, Thibodaux launched its own cryptocurrency called $JREAM. The coin will be traded exclusively on a platform called Rally.

“I think crypto is such a new space and the inclusion of an athlete in it changes the dynamic of how athletes are viewed,” Thibodaux told ESPN. “I started looking at crypto in high school and seeing the future in crypto and how far it could go was the next step in starting my future.”

Thibodaux, a 2021 Presidential All-American, announced a deal with United Airlines last month. He also has marketing deals with PlantFuel, a plant-based protein company, and Starface, a skincare company.
