John Ledecky, who owns the New York Islanders, also happens to be the uncle of Katie Ledecky. He was in the stands during his Olympic race and, let’s say, he was not hiding his excitement about his niece’s success.
It was a wonderful experience. And really real for someone who knew Katie from the day she was born. It was a huge victory, and it was wonderful to see him celebrate as well.
