Justin Thomas: Did make the cut| Masters scorecard
Justin Louis Thomas was born on April 29, 1993, and is a professional American golfer who competes on the PGA Tour. He previously held the position of World Number One. During the 2017 season, Thomas had a remarkable performance, winning five PGA Tour events and the FedEx Cup championship. He has won two major golf championships, the PGA Championship in 2017 and again in 2022. In May 2018, he became the 21st player to reach the top of the Official World Golf Ranking.
Did make the cut
Justin Thomas played a pivotal role in helping Tiger Woods secure his weekend plans. After the second round of the 87th Masters was resumed on a cold and rainy Saturday morning, Woods struggled in the conditions and finished with consecutive bogeys, leading to a score of 73. To make the cut and play the final two rounds, Woods needed some assistance. That came in the form of Thomas, who made a bogey at 17, moving the cutline from 2-over 146 to 3-over 147. Woods finished tied for 49th place at 3 over, equalling the record for the most consecutive cuts made at the Masters with Fred Couples and Gary Player since 1957 when the cut was introduced.
