Justin Patrick Herbert (born March 10, 1998) is an American football quarterback for the National Football League’s Los Angeles Chargers (NFL).
He played college football for the Oregon Ducks, where he won the Pac-12 Championship in 2019 and was named Rose Bowl MVP in 2020.
The Chargers selected him sixth overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Head coach Brandon Staley of the Los Angeles Chargers said quarterback Justin Herbert is “OK” after the quarterback suffered an apparent abdominal injury late in the Chargers’ 27-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Staley added that he would know more about Herbert’s condition on Friday. Herbert underwent X-rays after the game and did not speak to the media.
Herbert was drilled in the ribs on a backfield hit with a few minutes left in the fourth quarter, crashing to the field hard and immediately grabbing his midsection.
Herbert lay on the ground for a few minutes while team doctors examined him before walking to the sidelines unassisted.
Herbert sat out the required one game.

After suffering a rib injury in Thursday night’s 27-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert underwent X-rays.
Herbert appeared to be injured late in the fourth quarter of Thursday’s game.
He returned after taking one play off, but he was clearly in pain.
He even threw a late touchdown to cut Kansas City’s lead to three points.
Chargers head coach Brandon Staley praised Herbert’s toughness and said he’ll be fine.
