Crying:
It’s evident now that Justin Fields was frustrated with his role at Georgia this season. But when that began, and how deep it ran, is up for debate.
However, a video of Fields walking off of the field against South Carolina in September may shed some light on his opinion of the role.
In that game, Fields was 1-for-1 passing for eight yards, which was a line that proved to be consistent throughout the season. He didn’t attempt a pass against Missouri.

Run: Justin Fields
Justin Fields officially ran a 4.44 40-yard dash at his Pro Day, which is a historically fast time. According to The MMBQ’s Albert Breer, a second scout in attendance clocked him at 4.43 seconds. Only two first-round quarterbacks in NFL Combine history have ever been clocked faster.
Jackson recorded a 4.34-second 40-yard sprint on a Speed Day organized by Louisville in 2017, ahead of the 2018 NFL Draft.

The test has been given to over 6,500 professional athletes, and Fields scored in the top 1%. This test focused on the reps needed to learn something and then the ability to recall that later. For comparison sake, Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen each scored a 108. Fields scored a 130.
The Chicago Bears scored one of the biggest steals of the 2021 NFL draft in trading up for quarterback Justin Fields with the 11th overall pick. It’s a move that was applauded around the league and has many wondering if Chicago finally found an answer to its quarterback woes.
