Jordan Julian Lewis (born August 31, 1995) is an American football cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Michigan, where he was named First-team All-American and First-team All-Big Ten in 2015 and 2016. College

Lewis accepted a football scholarship from the University of Michigan. As a freshman he appeared in 13 games, recording 17 tackles and defending two passes. As a sophomore, he appeared in 12 games (seven starts), making 39 tackles, 28 solo tackles, 1.5 tackle losses, two interceptions and six passes defended. He was named a starter in the third game of the season. As a junior, he started 13 games, posting 52 tackles (3.5 for damages), two interceptions and 20 passes defended (ranked third in FBS). He also averaged 25.2 yards on kickoff return.  As a senior, he missed the first 3 games with injuries to his back, hamstrings and quads. Through the first 10 games of the 2015 season, Lewis had 20 pass breakups, setting a new school record.  He finished second among all players in the NCAA Division I FBS with 21 pass defenders. Lewis set a single-season school record in 2015 with a 21 pass breakup, surpassing the previous record of 18 held by Marlene Jackson (2002) and Leon Hall (2006). After the 2015 season, Lewis was named to the All-Big Ten Defensive First-Team by both the media and coaches.He was named a First-Team All-American by USA Today and Sports Illustrated, the 2013 In 2006, Taylor became the first Wolverine to earn the honor since Levan, and in 2006 became the first Wolverine defensive back to earn the honor since Lyon Hall.

Jordan Lewis signed a three-year, $13.5 million contract with the Cowboys. Lewis has $7.75 million guaranteed, of which $4.75 million is guaranteed to sign. Lewis received a $3.5 million signing bonus and his 2021 salary is guaranteed. He has a $3 million injury guarantee on his 2022 salary which will be fully guaranteed on the 5th day of the 2022 league year. He has an annual per game roster bonus in his contract. The free-agent cornerback market began to boom with the signing of William Jackson for three years, Washington for $40.5 million, Shaq Griffin for three years, the Jacksonville Jaguars for $40 million and Ronald Darby for three years, Received $30 million from the Denver Broncos. Most importantly for Dallas, however, Chidobe Ouzy accepted a three-year, $21.8 million deal from the Cincinnati Bengals, ending a four-year stint with the Cowboys.

However, in 2017, the rookie cornerback made headlines when his longtime girlfriend Nicole Miller accused him of assaulting her at their apartment in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The alleged assault reportedly took place on the night of 15 March 2018. According to him, he had an argument about leaving Roshni on and hit her with a pillow three times before dragging her to the floor and grabbing her neck. Lewis denied all the allegations, saying that he only hit her with a pillow and never touched her. He was acquitted in July 2017. Of course, the relationship died a natural death.
