Fantasy status

Josh Jacobs is putting on a memorable performance in both his Las Vegas Raiders and fantasy football career. The race for the fourth year saw 144 rushing yards on 28 carries and two touchdowns in the Raiders’ 32-23 win over the Denver Broncos, and also caught five of his six goals for 31 yards. He’s looking to continue his monster production with the Kansas City Chiefs in a Week 5 offensive.
Jacobs enters Week 5 as an overall RB13 and averages a career-high 13.6 fantasy points across semi-PPR formats.

Fantasy managers should be absolutely thrilled by this level of Jacobs’ production, especially because the value of a 24-year-old ball carrier reaching the game wasn’t surprising. Although he saw double-digit touches every week, the Raiders weren’t getting the numbers he needed to officially recall his lone workhorse. He once failed to receptacle at 70 yards, and was limited in receiving the reverse. It certainly has changed over the span of a week. He appeared on an 89 percent snap for Las Vegas against the Broncos and currently ranks fourth in rushing yards (336) and juke rate (42.7) among all NFL RBs.
