The issuance of NBA 2K ratings brings with it an annual tradition of complaints. The subjectivity of ratings is a source of debate and anger for fans, gamers and players alike. In previous years, 2K would release individual player ratings one by one, usually in the form of social media marketing at the player’s request.
This year, however, the ratings were not released individually, possibly as a result of the COVID-19 rearrangement of the calendar and schedule in 2020. As a result, Friday’s release of NBA 2K21 brought with it a flurry of reactions, including one from Josh Hart.
While most players would complain about his overall rating, Hart’s criticism was too specific. Hart set a career-high this season in rebounds at 6.5 per competition, although he played only 16 of 65 games. His anger was understandable when he came to know about his rebound rating.

Will the Blazers want to commit the money it will take him to learn that his prime is over when they pick young players and fruit?
That is the main question here. The deal has a permanent lottery team making a move toward the playoffs and a permanent playoff team making a move toward the lottery. Only time will tell whether this is the right time for any team to take such a big step in this direction. For now, here’s how both teams graded in the deal.

McCallum, 30, has spent his entire career with the Blazers since he was drafted in 10th place from Leigh in 2013. The guard averaged 19 points and 3.4 assists in 564 games with Portland, helping the team reach the playoffs eight times (and the finals in the Western Conference 2019).
McCollum and Damien Lillard have long formed one of the most powerful backcourt combinations in the NBA, but Portland’s struggles this year (21-33) have forced the franchise to shake things up. The Blazers have already traded Norman Powell and Robert Covington to the Raptors, but Lillard is unlikely to move before Thursday’s trade deadline.
