Joshua Patrick Allen (born May 21, 1996) is an American football quarterback for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football in Wyoming, where he was a bowl game MVP, and was selected seventh overall by the Bills in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Post game
Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes got together on “The Match” last week because of a moment: 13 seconds.
In last year’s playoffs, Allen’s Bill Mahomes lost to the Chiefs in a back-and-forth performance. One for the history books.
After a golf outing on TNT where Mahomes and Allen lost to Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, there was a round table chat involving all four QBs. During that time, Mahomes and Allen reflected on what happened after Mahomes won that post-season football game.
The two shared a hug that both of them remembered fondly.
“I kind of take things from that moment,” Allen said. “He goes down and in overtime he throws the winning touchdown to Travis (Keuls) and ups Travis and he runs straight to me and finds me and we can be like a little hug.
“For him to have the honor and thought process of winning the game a crazy game, and for congratulating me in whatever it was, you know, like, he was good, he was awesome.”
For Mahomes, finding Allen wasn’t even a second thought.
From experience, he knew he had to do it because Mahomes said he knew how Alan felt. The Chiefs in the past lost out in a similar way against someone else who shared the stage: Brady.
