According to Springfield Police Chief David Thompson, a Springfield man wanted for the murder of his wife has killed himself in Kentucky while pursuing a chase with multiple law enforcement agencies.
Joseph Parker, 45, shot himself inside his car during a traffic stop near Mile Marker 12 on Interstate 65 in Kentucky. He was being pursued by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the US Marshals Service in addition to local officials in Tennessee and Kentucky, the chief said.
