A bizarre fight occurred in the sixth inning when Guardians star Jose Ramirez slid into second base between White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson’s legs. Ramírez was called safe, but a brawl broke out that resulted in Ramírez and Anderson walking toward each other through second base umpire Malachi Moore and brawling.
Both men traded punches, with Ramírez landing the knockout blow as Anderson fell backwards. As soon as the two players were separated, both teams immediately cleared their dugouts and bullpens.

The AL Central matchup between the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians turned sour on Saturday night when a heated exchange between Tim Anderson and Jose Ramirez quickly turned into a brawl.
After hitting a double to right field in the bottom of the sixth inning, Ramírez looked annoyed at how Anderson tried to cover second base when he slid head-first into the bag.

But the matter did not end here.
According to Bell, the managers of both teams, as well as Cleveland closer Emmanuel Klass and third base coach Mike Sarbaugh, were also sent off. Guardians manager Terry Francona has had a brief history of ejections this season, all three coming last week against the White Sox.
