Jordan Alexander Spieth (born July 27, 1993) is an American professional golfer on the PGA Tour and former world number one in the Official World Golf Ranking. He is a three-time major winner and the 2015 FedEx Cup champion.[2] Spieth’s first major win came at the 2015 Masters Tournament, when he scored 270 (-18) and earned $1.8 million. He broke the 72-hole record set by Tiger Woods in 1997 and became the second youngest golfer (behind Woods) to win the Masters. He then won the 2015 US Open with a score of 5-under-par. [3] He was the youngest US Open champion since amateur Bobby Jones in 1923. He went on to win the 2015 Tour Championship, winning the 2015 FedEx Cup. Two years later, Spieth won his third Major at the 2017 Open Championship by three shots at 12-under par.

The birth of their first child was another important milestone in Spieth’s successful year. He won the Valero Texas Open in April for his first win since 2017. He also finished runner-up in the Open Championship, re-entered the top 10 in the world rankings and qualified for his first Tour Championship in four years.
Spieth remained silent about the pregnancy, not announcing it publicly until the Tour Championships, when a pregnant Annie was spotted chasing her husband. Jordan said in East Lake that the couple waited until the baby was born to know the gender.
Spieth, 28, has played just once since being a member of this year’s victorious Ryder Cup squad, completing T18 in the CJ CUP @ THE SUMMIT.
Does have a child
A really good year on the golf course just turned into a great year for Jordan Spieth.
The three-time major champion announced Thursday that he and his wife, Annie, had their first final week. World of Golf, meet Sammy Spieth:
Highlights
Spieth, 28, started 2021 at number 82 in the official world golf rankings, but recently returned to the top 10 for the first time in more than three years.
Spieth has played less this fall for obvious reasons. He was part of Team USA’s Ryder Cup victory in September and finished T-18 in the CJ Cup last month. But now, the next time he teases it, he will be for the first time as a father. Good luck getting some rest before that, Jordan.
Son
Pro golfer and wife Annie Verret welcomed their first child this week. The 12-time PGA Tour winner wrote on Twitter, Sammy Spieth was born on November 14.
“Mom and baby are doing great! Feeling good!”

Fellow golf stars and celebrities shared congratulatory messages in the comments, including Brooks Koepka, Lindsey Vonn, Niall Horan and more.
Verett also shared the news on his personal Instagram account. She posted a photo of the couple’s newborn in a bright blue hue while taking a nap with their dog.
In her caption, she wrote that the new parents “couldn’t be happier.”
