Jordan Love is set to make his first career debut this weekend against the Chiefs, with Aaron Rodgers sidelined with COVID. Love is still a bit raw but has an exciting skill set. we are back! I was back for my first preseason game of the season against the Houston Texans at the Green Bay Packers football field, but I’m back with my immediate takeaway from what we saw.
Here’s a rundown of my initial thoughts from the beginning of Jordan Love, along with everything else that happened.
– Well, we can start with Jordan Love too. While he didn’t do anything spectacular, I thought he was solid enough. As I’ve said before, it’s about the process of love at this point and not so much the outcome. He looked calm in the pocket, threw the ball with balance, and was able to go through his strides – it was a fine performance for the young quarterback.
– Love had considerable success attacking the middle of the field, including a beautiful pass to Jess Sternberger. Family Night had one such drama from Aaron Rodgers to Robert Tonian.

The Green Bay Packers off season was full of twists and turns.
However, things got easier when he finally reported going to camp and Aaron Rodgers’ position was cleared.
For one thing, the limelight was taken away from second-year quarterback Jordan Love.
He could focus on improving his game and learning from Rodgers.
Jordan Love says he has a “great” relationship with Aaron Rodgers. The MVP explains the details to him, and Love has learned a lot from watching Rodgers’ footwork. “It’s kind of a Master and Padawon kind of thing,” Love said. “Just trying to learn from him as much as I can.”
Stats
As a redshirt freshman in 2017, he played 12 games and started the final six. He finished the season with 129 of 235 passes for 1,631 yards, eight touchdowns and six interceptions. [5] [6] Following his debut at UNLV, he was named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week Gaya.
As a sophomore in 2018, Love started all 13 games, completed 267 of 417 passes and set a school season record for 3,567 yards with 32 touchdowns and six interceptions. [8] He was named MVP of the 2018 New Mexico Bowl after passing 359 yards and four touchdowns. [9] His team finished the season with an 11–2 record and placed 22nd in the AP poll. After his sophomore season, he was expected to be a future NFL first-round draft pick.
