Jordan Kyrou is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre and right winger for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League. Kyrou was selected 35th overall in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft by the Blues.

Injury:
The St. Louis Blues finally had one game with the standard 12 forwards, but on Sunday against the Anaheim Ducks, they’ll be back to 11.
Jordan Kyrou will not be in the lineup Sunday according to Blues Head Coach Craig Berube.
Kyrou appeared shaken up after a hit from Montreal Canadiens forward Nick Suzuki on Saturday late in the first period. He had three shifts in the second period but didn’t play in the third.
Salary:
The St. Louis Blues have signed forward Jordan Kyrou to a two-year contract worth $5.6 million with an average annual value of $2.8 million, the team announced on Wednesday.
Kyrou, 23, had a career year this past season, recording 14 goals and 21 assists in 55 games.
The Toronto native was selected by the Blues in the second round (35th overall) in the 2016 NHL Draft.

I have seen some people on social media accusing Blues fans of only caring when the league’s poor decision making impacts our team, so I want to preface this by saying that I feel that the NHL’s Covid-19 policy, as executed in tandem with its injury policy, is absurd and I would feel that way regardless of any team that it impacts.
Yes, I am currently angry about how it’s impacting the Blues right now, but if it were to happen to any other team, I would still believe it to be indicative of the league’s poor decision making and inflexibility.
