Jordan Lee Addison (born January 27, 2002) is an American football wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Pittsburgh, where he won the 2021 Fred Biletnikoff Award, before playing the next season at USC. Addison was selected by the Vikings in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Arrested
Addison was pulled over for speeding and careless driving at around 3 am. He was not arrested.
The No. 23 selection in April’s NFL Draft, Addison could face discipline from the Vikings or the league office if found guilty of a crime.
Any punishment handed down is unlikely to have a significant impact on Addison’s rookie season.
Addison is scheduled to report to training camp Sunday with the rest of the Vikings’ rookie group. He is expected to compete for a starting spot on the roster during camp as the team looks to replace Adam Thielen, who signed with the Carolina Panthers this offseason.
The 22-year-old split his collegiate career with Pitt and USC, compiling 219 receptions for 3,134 yards and 29 touchdowns. He missed most of the Vikings’ offseason program while dealing with the injury.
Injury update
Addison exited Thursday’s game against the 49ers and headed to the locker room after suffering a foot injury, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports.
Addison was able to walk to the locker room under his own power. The rookie was enjoying a career-game before finishing with six receptions for 110 yards and two trips to the end zone. It remains to be seen what his status will be for the remainder of the game.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison suffered a foot injury while trying to catch a pass in Week 7’s Monday Night Football game against the San Francisco 49ers. As the two were going to the ground, it appeared Addison’s leg was grabbed by a 49ers defender. The receiver was able to walk off the field under his own power but trainers continued to watch him before being taken to the locker room.
This is a potentially huge development for the Vikings, who already have star receiver Justin Jefferson on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury. Jefferson was scheduled to miss at least two more games, and his original timeline for return was 4–6 weeks. If Addison also goes down for a significant amount of time, Minnesota will be without its top two receivers.

Edison easily managed to show his best game as a professional. He scored a 20-yard touchdown run from Kirk Cousins on a perfect pass in the first quarter. His 60-yard score in the second quarter was even more impressive as he left a tackle right after the catch before outrunning the 49ers defense for the long score. Addison now has 29 catches for 400 yards and six touchdowns in seven games. He will be a high-end WR2 in Week 8 against the Packers.
