Why was ejected

Djokic was ruled out of the game in the fourth quarter after receiving his second technical foul of the night. It was the culmination of a high-stress game for the Nuggets, who were desperately fighting not to be left behind 0-2 in the series and were clearly disappointed by Golden State’s offensive onslaught.

With seven minutes left in the game, Jokic went up for a point-blank shot down the hoop that was blocked by Draymond Green. Pointing his face vigorously, Jokic ran to referee Kevin Cutler to argue that Green should have been fouled in the play.

Cutler clearly didn’t like what the Joker had to say as he was immediately served with a technicality, prompting Drummond Green to bid him farewell as soon as he left the court.

Nuggets center Nikola Jokic was knocked out of Denver’s win over the Heat on Monday night when he pushed Miami forward Markif Morris in the fourth quarter.

Jokic was saved by Morris more than two minutes into regulation as Denver took a 111–94 lead. But instead of ignoring the contact, Jokic immediately retaliated, pushing Morris to the floor. Initially a stretcher was removed, but Morris passed away with the help of Miami medical staff.

During the reigning MVP Nikola Jokic said he had a role in the Denver Nuggets’ 124-104 loss against the Boston Celtics on Sunday.

Despite his shooting woes, Jokic got off to a brisk start. He had 12 points in the first quarter and dominated the Celtics. However, things soon went awry after the first 12 minutes of hard work. Denver’s ultra-versatile big man would only add 11 points for the rest of the game, ending with 23 points from 23 shots.

Boston took a massive 68-47 lead at half-time and never looked back. Jokic gave his best but struggled with his shooting against the strong defense of the Celtics.

After the game, 26-year-old Kendra spoke (via Katie Wing) about her shooting struggles:

“We lost because of me. It’s very simple. Maybe I can force (d) it, I don’t know. I thought I had easy scores, and I didn’t. He protected me really well… Defensively, I wasn’t where I was supposed to be.
