Parents
Johnny Davis was born Mark Davis (father). His mother’s name is still unavailable. His father is a retired American basketball player who was selected 79th overall in Round 4 by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 1985 NBA Draft. He has a twin brother named Jordan who is also a basketball player for Wisconsin.
Missing
The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office said a man who went missing during a hunting trip in Mendocino County late last month may have been washed away in the Eel River during a severe storm.
John Davis, 48, of Humboldt County, was last seen by his son in early October 24. Sheriff’s Office spokesman Captain Greg Van Patten said they were both camping along the Eel River when rising water came into their tent and woke them up.
According to Van Patten, Davis’ son went back to his vehicle, but Davis opted to stay, saying he would move the tent.
Mom
His mother’s name is unavailable.
Family
La Crosse, Wisc. (WXOW) — Over the weekend, La Crosse Central’s Johnny and Jordan Davis made verbal commitments to play basketball at the University of Wisconsin.
“It’s like a dream come true,” said Mark Davis, Johnny and Jordan’s father. “To be able to play in your home state, that’s even better.”
Wisconsin offered Johnny in December of 2017. It was one of nine Division One basketball offers for the first team All-State Juniors. For Jordan, football coaches were hiring him harder than basketball coaches. In return, they began to come to terms with having to go their separate way to college. That was until Wisconsin head coach Greg Gard offered Jordan a scholarship earlier this month.
