When did debut

John Cena arrived in WWE during the summer of 2002. He made an impressive SmackDown debut by accepting an open challenge issued by former WWE Champion, Kurt Angle.

Although he lost the match, Cena was able to make a lasting impression on the WWE Universe. However, no one knew at that time that he would become the face of WWE in the future.

Vince McMahon found himself in a difficult position in the early 2000s. The Rock and Stone Cold left WWE for personal reasons, which proved to be a major setback for the company. Things got worse when Brock Lesnar, in which the company had invested heavily, decided not to renew his contract in 2004.

With these sudden departures, WWE was in dire need of a new star and Cena rose to the occasion. The decision changed the wrestling business forever as the Senation Leader became one of the biggest draws in pro wrestling history.

John Cena has confirmed that he has not retired from WWE, and has revealed his status for WrestleMania.

John Cena returned to WWE in August last year for a big match with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam and left for Hollywood shortly after the event.

Many speculated that we wouldn’t see Cena until WrestleMania 38, as WWE usually calls its biggest stars for the biggest show of the year.

However, Cena suggests that we may have to wait a bit longer, as his busy schedule could mean he misses his two-night schedule in April.

While talking to Ellen DeGeneres, Cena suggested that if he plans some roles and gets some opportunities, he will be forced to miss the big show this year.

Filmography

WrestleMania usually takes place in late March, early April. I don’t know if I’m going to make it this year or not. It’s a good puzzle because there are a lot of good opportunities coming up which I would love to take. If all these things come together, I don’t know if I will be able to make WrestleMania or not.

However, Cena reassured fans that he is very far away in WWE and will return to the company for more matches down the line:

I will say to everyone watching, I haven’t been with WWE for a long time. It’s my home, I love it. I was able to go back and entertain the audience for a few months during the summer when they welcomed the audience to the Arena and I was a long way from my last performance.

It will be music to the ears of WWE and its fanbase, with Cena finally being admired for the fantastic artist he is.
