Highlights
He is known for his imposing physicality as a cornerback, possessing the desired length and size for the position. He excels at playing tight coverage and prefers press coverage to disrupt the opposing team’s routes.
However, Porter’s height of 6’2″ can sometimes cause him to have trouble maintaining his pad level, resulting in him standing up and losing a step on occasion. Despite this, his remarkable athleticism allows him to recover quickly and keep up with receivers, even when they attempt deep passes.
He is also skilled in reading the play, as he demonstrates an excellent sense of timing when trying to intercept a pass.
