In his professional martial arts career, he has won 49 of the 70 competitions he has participated in.

In addition, he has a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

He had a 13–3 winning record in professional mixed martial arts before signing with the WEC.

Joe Riggs joined BFKC in 2018 and made his debut on October 20, 2018 against Brock Weaver, who was drafted as his opponent.

Joe was also the winner of Season One of Fight Master: Bellator MMA.

MMA veteran Joe “Diesel” rigs have been reduced to 170 pounds. In recent years, where most of his best performances have taken place. This fact alone is surprising, as Riggs was at one time a hardcore bodybuilder of 300 pounds, and as high as a heavyweight in MMA. Riggs made his UFC debut in 2004, defeating Doeraxen by submission (strike), and continued to beat top names in the organization—including Chris Little and Nick Diaz—during the most successful run of his career. Following his UFC career, Riggs entered strikeforce as a middleweight, defeating Luke Stewart and Phil Baroney to re-emerge as a viable contender in that promotion.

Riggs is known for his adventures outside the cage, as he was involved in a physical altercation with Nick Diaz in the hospital after a fight with him at UFC 57. The police were forced to intervene as a fight broke out between the two fighters. Hospital gown.

A well-known worldbeater in the gym, Riggs has never been so below the label that he has failed to perform to the best of his ability in his major live, televised fights. Losing to Diego Sanchez and Matt Hughes, among others, was a disappointment at key moments when a win could take him to the next level.

On November 2, 2013, Riggs became the winner of the Bellators Fight Master MMA reality television series by winning a decision over Mike Bronzolis. Riggs had chosen Greg Jackson as his coach for the show, and he was

The two MMA stalwarts mixed it up in the co-main event of BKFC 18, which turned out to be a wild contest filled with controversy during and after the fight.

Former Bellator champion and UFC competitor Hector Lombard faced Joe Riggs in the third of four title matches on Saturday night.

Lombard (3-0 BKFC) ended the fight in a controversial fashion with a clean punch to the eye on Riggs (2-1-1 BKFC) Shorts. As a result, Riggs could not continue as he said he could only see with one eye, with Lombard being crowned Cruiserweight Champion by Doc’s stoppage.

While Bear Knuckle Fighting Championship 24 might not have been at the top of the viewing list for many fighting sports fans this weekend, the night (as always) produced a bunch of really wild knockouts. It also featured one from Billy Wagner, who caught his opponent 43 seconds into his bout with his face in the perfect position for a brutal uppercut.

It was an overhand that Wagner swung with Jacob Kreitel, setting up the uppercut that Kreitel applied to the canvas.

Wagner was a 4–2 professional boxer coming to BKFC 24, his first barefoot affair. Kreitel entered the fight with a 1-6 professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fight and apparently no known outcome with two bare bouts that both took place over the past 30 days.

In other Bayer Knuckles FC 24 results, Joe Riggs was unable to avenge the “Montana Tomata” incident where Lorenzo Hunt threw a half-eaten tomato in his face. Hunt defeated former UFC fixture Riggs via knockout 1:12 in the second round.
