Trade:

We still have three games left to close out the regular season, and we have no idea what the San Francisco 49ers will do in the postseason—assuming they make it. However, that isn’t stopping ESPN from looking beyond the 2021 season and toward the 2022 offseason.

Specifically, Bill Barnwell is looking at the dominos that might fall should the Green Bay Packers trade Aaron Rodgers or the Seattle Seahawks trade Russell Wilson. That creates two scenarios for San Francisco, both involving some desperate teams who could seek out Jimmy Garoppolo.

Sucks:

The 49ers experienced the best and worst of Jimmy Garoppolo, all in one evening. Garoppolo helped the 49ers get off to a fast start, made some crucial mistakes that gave momentum of the game back to the Tennessee Titans, then had a clutch late drive that tied the game with 2:20 left.

The Titans answered with a clutch drive of their own, with a long Ryan Tannehill scramble setting up a game-winning field goal with four seconds left. Tennessee won 20-17.
