The Miami Heat aren’t dead just yet. We will have a do-or-die Game 7 on Sunday night in South Beach after Jimmy Butler led the top-seeded team in the Eastern Conference to a crucial 111-103 victory in Game 6 at TD Garden to extend this series and keep their title hopes alive. 

Butler was fantastic for Miami when they needed him to be the most as he finished the win with a game-high 47 points to go along with nine rebounds, eight assists and four steals. 

What happened to:

The win for the Celtics gives them a 3-2 lead in the series heading back to Boston for Game 6. 

All-Star shooting guard Jimmy Butler finished his night with 13 points, six rebounds and four assits. 

Butler missed the second half Game 3 due to a knee injury, and and after the game he was asked about his knee.

Smart was heavily favoring the sprained right ankle the Celtics coach had just said Smart would try to test to play in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals. But when Smart was hobbling down the hallway, having just gotten to the arena, less than 75 minutes remained before tip.

He wasn’t playing and he already knew it. He said something to a Celtics game operations employee, and as soon as she turned the corner from talking to Smart, she said out loud, “well he’s not playing.”
