Jeremy Julius Sochan (born 20 May 2003) is a Polish-British college basketball player for the Baylor Bears of the Big 12 Conference.

Who
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Sochan dropped out of La Lumiere School and joined the Orange Academy of the Probes with fellow countryman Igor Milisic Jr.[1] Sochan commits to playing college basketball for Baylor in July 2020 .[2]
Edit National Team Career
Sochan previously represented Poland at junior level.[1] As part of Poland’s under-16 national basketball team, he led his team to the 2019 FIBA U16 European Championship Division B in Montenegro . There, he became the tournament MVP. [3]
Sochan has been a member of the Polish national basketball team. In his first game in the EuroBasket 2022 qualification, he led Poland to Romania 88–81, when he became the youngest player to play for Poland. He played 29 minutes in which he scored 18 points, which included a four-point play (3 pointer plus fouls and free throws) and a game-deciding block at the end.
Stats
His mother Anita was a Polish basketball player who went to America to study. There he met Sochan’s father who is American. Sochan spent most of his life in Milton Keynes, England, where he took his first steps in basketball.

NBA Draft
Well bouncy and strong built as one of the best athletes. Another asset Jeremy has is team-oriented. Although their possessive abilities are not unique, they only care about winning, play very hard and are extremely selfless.
Jeremy’s shooting pace is still too slow at times and not in the right rhythm, but he was forced to put in some hard effort here even though he had more time.
Highlights
Baylor coach Scott Drew wanted a big-name opponent before heading to a tournament in the Bahamas, and he saw what looked like a tough Big 12 game against Stanford in the first half.
For the ninth-placed Bears, the second half looked like a setback of the first three games against lesser-known foes.
LJ Cryer scored 21 points and James Akinjo had 11 points in his career, including 11 assists, to help Balor secure an 86-48 win over the Cardinals on Saturday.
