He played college football at TCU and was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Gladney died after being involved in a car accident, before the start of the 2022 NFL season.

Arizona Cardinals cornerback Jeff Gladney was killed in a car accident in Dallas on Monday morning, the team and his agent announced Monday afternoon. He was 25 years old.
“We are devastated to learn of the passing of Jeff Gladney,” the Cardinals said in a statement. “Our hearts are with his family, friends and all those grieving this tremendous loss.”

His agent, Brian Overstreet, confirmed Gladney’s death, telling the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, “We are praying for the family and privacy at this most difficult time.”
According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department, the deputy was dispatched for an accident on the west side Woodle Rodgers Freeway Service Road near Allen Street at approximately 2:28 p.m. The people, one man and one woman, had died.
How did die
The sheriff’s office said two vehicles were involved in the accident and preliminary information indicated the white vehicle was speeding and the other vehicle slid from behind. The white vehicle lost control and collided with the pier beam of the highway. Two people in the other vehicle were not injured.
A star in TCU, Gladney was a 2020 first-round draft pick by the Minnesota Vikings.

Jeff Gladney, who last played for the Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings, tragically died in a car accident on Monday morning. His agent, Brian Overstreet, confirmed Gladney’s death at the age of 25.
Gladney was selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played all 16 games for the Minnesota Vikings in his rookie season. He had 81 tackles, including seven tackles for defeat, three passes defended and 15 starts with a coercive fumble.
