Motocross
Jeff Alessi was born on March 27, 1989 in Glendale (USA). Even in his childhood and youth, he showed tremendous talent and potential in supercross. Many believe that he can even surpass his elder brother Mike. The brothers started out as amateurs with Honda and then moved to the Red Bull KTM factory team.
However, early in his professional career, Jeff suffered serious leg injuries which held him back and was the reason why he was never able to show his potential. He competed again as a professional from 2005 to 2012 and returned in 2016. After ending his active career, he became a driver-coach.
Jeff was known to be a friendly and funny person from a young age. In 2005, both Alesi brothers competed in the MX2 class at the Irish Grand Prix at Desert Martin. Jeff finished fifth in the daily standings in this World Championship race.
