The Boston Celtics suffered a brutal hit in the first quarter of Tuesday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks, in which Jaylen Brown suffered an ankle injury as he was attacking the basket.

Just three minutes into the game, Brown fell in pain after a failed drive to the rim. He lay on the floor for a few minutes, although he was able to walk and walk to the locker room by his own strength.

Unfortunately, the Celtics confirmed that Brown was done for the game with a right ankle injury. The seriousness of the issue is yet to be disclosed, but hopes are high that it will not sideline him for long.

The Sacramento Kings haven’t made the playoffs in 16 seasons and aren’t looking to break that streak anytime soon.

Still, it was encouraging to see that the Boston Celtics would not play in their competition at TD Garden on Tuesday – especially their top two players.
