Jamie Kah, giving evidence at her explosive “white powder” hearing at the Victorian Racing Tribunal, has said she was left stunned after seeing a secret video which was made public.

On Monday, Kah confirmed that stablehand Ruby McIntyre was the person who filmed the video that included images of a white powder, which was later leaked and published in the media in June.

Kah and McIntyre have pleaded not guilty to conduct prejudicial to racing’s image, interests, integrity or welfare.

Video

Frustrated and angry racing insiders are trying to track down the woman who allegedly leaked a video of champion jockey Jamie Kah depositing lines of white powder.

On Friday, video footage of a 27-year-old man distributing a wad of a white substance was shared widely on WhatsApp.

Fall

When champion Adelaide trainer Tony McEvoy had a young jockey named Jamie Kah, he considered it a “legal form of cheating”, such was Kah’s talent in the saddle.

Together, they dominated South Australian racing – Kah won three jockeys premierships, and McEvoy won six trainers’ titles, before both decided to make Victoria home.

For Kah, who moved in early 2019, this was just the beginning.

She soon became the world’s top-ranked female jockey, and by October 2020 she was Victoria’s leading rider, earning her a place in the Melbourne Cup with Prince of Arran the following month.

Partner

As of March 2023, he and fellow jockey Ben Melham are partners.

Cocaine

Jockey Jamie Kah has responded after a pair of photographs featuring the superstar and an unidentified white-powdered plate circulated on social media.

Kah has been sidelined since a horrific fall at Flemington in March left him with a bleed on the brain and memory loss.

But the day after the jockey announced his return to the sport, he was dragged into a social media scandal, the Herald Sun’s Page 13 reports.

The images show an image of Kah smiling at the camera, with her white painted nails clearly visible and another photo showing white nails on one hand, which is sprinkled with white powder on a plate. Appears to be dividing lines.
