When can play again
The league announced Friday that second-year wide receiver Jameson Williams’ six-game suspension has been reduced and he will be reinstated on Monday. Williams is eligible to play in Carolina’s next game vs. Detroit on October 8 at Ford Field.
Williams was originally suspended six games for violating the league’s gambling policy, but the league and the NFL Players Union recently agreed to new policies related to gambling violations and in doing so Williams was suspended. The suspension has gone down.
