James Robinson (born August 9, 1998) is an American football running back for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Illinois State and signed with the Jaguars in 2020 as an unfinished free agent. Robinson broke the NFL record for most scrimmage yards by any untrained rookie.

Injury
There were plenty of negative moments to focus on in Jacksonville’s 31-7 loss to Seattle on Sunday, but the most worrying came when James Robinson was kicked out of bounds after a 14-yard run that ended his day. was the longest. He collided with a piece of equipment on the sidelines, and although he seemed fine in real time, he did not enter the game for the following series. He was later listed as a suspect for a comeback with an ankle injury, but did not see the field again.
After the game, coach Urban Mayer updated their status. As it turns out, he did not injure his ankle, but instead suffered a bruised heel in damage done to the Seahawks. Meyer said he did not know the extent of the injury or how long Robinson would be sidelined.
Robinson had four carries for 22 yards before leaving the game on Sunday, and he has been one of the few bright spots for Jacksonville this season. He already has 468 yards and five points after finishing as an unfinished rookie in 2020 as a 1,000-yard rusher.
Robinson was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois. Robinson played Pop Warner football for the Rockford Ravens.[1] He attended Rockford Lutheran High School, where he played basketball and football. As a senior, he rushed 2,461 yards and 44 touchdowns and was named a Class 4A All-State.[2] Robinson set an IHSA record with 9,045 rushing yards and 158 rushing touchdowns.

Jacksonville may find itself digging itself out of a 17-0 hole against the Seattle Seahawks without its best offensive player.
Overtaking James Robinson, who had taken his four carries for 22 yards in the first half, left the game in the second quarter after a 14-yard run (the longest of his afternoon). Robinson was pushed out of bounds, eventually hitting a structure on the Seahawks shore.
According to the Jaguar PR account, Robinson is listed as a suspect in this to return.

James Robinson had a spectacular rookie campaign for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2020. The Illinois State Product appeared in 14 games and had 1,070 yards on the ground and seven touchdowns. Despite the fact that the Jags lost 15 straight games last season, Robinson gave fans a reason to watch an otherwise terrible team.

If I’m being polite it’s been a tumultuous season for James Robinson’s managers starting in 2021. After landing in Jacksonville as a free agent, Robinson had a breakout rookie season. Life in the NFL as a UDFA is full of risks. The team is always looking for a replacement for you. Fantasy managers are no different. We are wary of players who have little or no NFL Draft capital.
Robinson stepped down when Leonard Fournett was released in 2020. The Jaguars didn’t have much to play for.
