James Edward Harden Jr. is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. He is one of the NBA’s most prolific scorers and has been called the best shooting guard in the NBA, as well as one of the top overall players in the league.

News Trade:
The Rockets finally traded James Harden on Wednesday afternoon, securing a whopping eight future first-round draft picks and swaps from the Nets in a four-team deal that also includes the Pacers and Cavaliers.
But they paid a massive price to do it. The Nets sent Caris LeVert and Rodions Kurucs to Houston, along with 2022, 2024 and 2026 first-round picks and the right to swap first-round picks in 2021, 2023, 2025 and 2027.

In a passionate talk with young hoopers at T.J. Ford’s basketball academy in Houston Tuesday, James Harden pushed the players to work harder, work better.
At one point, Harden told them that they should be “drizzling” with sweat. At another point in the video that went viral after being posted by a fan, Harden excoriates them for stopping their workout at 6 p.m.

He played college basketball for the Arizona State Sun Devils, where he was named a consensus All-American and Pac-10 Player of the Year in 2009. Harden was selected with the third overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder. In 2012, he was named NBA Sixth Man of the Year with the Thunder and helped the team reach the NBA Finals, where they lost to the Miami Heat in five games.
