Jalen Alexander Hurts[1] (born August 7, 1998) is an American football quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played his first three seasons of college football in Alabama, where he was part of the team that won the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship, and used his final year of eligibility at Oklahoma. Is playing tonight
The mystery is over. Jalen Hurts is inactive.
With the Eagles playing a playoff game next week and because Saturday night’s game against the Cowboys means nothing to them in terms of seeding, the Eagles are resting their starting quarterback among other key players.
Gardner will begin the minnow and Reid is the Senate backup.
Hurts looked pretty good last week but with an ankle injury still listed in the injury report. This will give him another week to rest.
Hearts isn’t the idle starter for this game. Here is the complete list:
Jalen Hurts
Darius Slay
Steven Nelson
Miles Sanders
Anthony Harris
Lane Johnson
landon dickerson
passion sweat
Derek Barnett
Why isnt playing
The Eagles can no longer hold back. They can’t turn their backs on the quarterback, who has helped lead them to the most impossible playoff berth ever.
There are many reasons why the Eagles considered the postseason to be a transitional season.
Veteran leadership is probably the biggest reason leaders like Jason Kels, Rodney MacLeod, and Fletcher Cox have been there. He, along with Len Johnson and Derek Barnett, are the remnants of the Super Bowl championship.
Nick Siriani and his staff deserve a lot of credit, as well, watching the adversity of a 2-5 start and never blinking. Even though the second half of the schedule was filled with winable games, there were no guarantees of victory, and the Eagles went out and won them.
What happened to
In an open letter, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Harts called on the NFL and Washington football team to improve security measures at FedExfield after a railing at the stadium collapsed on Sunday.
In a video circulating on social media, Hurts was seen leaving the field after a game at Landover, Maryland. Eagles fans reaching for a high five were knocked to the ground after falling into the path of an obstacle. Hurts has now asked if “what follow-up action is being considered” after the incident.
Red Hog or President? Washington will announce new surname next month
“Many individuals, including fans, media personnel, and myself, were placed in a dangerous situation when part of the FedExField tunnel collapsed,” Hurts wrote. “Although I was able to stop the obstacle from falling on me, it was not the same for others who may have sustained injuries.”
“Through the initial shock, my first reaction was to assist those involved,” said the 23-year-old. “I understand the gravity of what happened and am deeply concerned for the well-being of fans and the media.”
