Sunday (February 20) Things were quiet for a while at the Daytona 500.
There were a few caveats in the first phase, but as the segment came to an end, things escalated quickly. Double-file racing took the lead in the outside lane with rookie Harrison Burton. Burton’s number 21 was in the clear, and it culminated in Brad Kiselowski pushing a Wood Brothers racing car the wrong way and sending it spinning. Burton’s ford went sideways, collided with William Byron and then collided with Denny Hamlin, exposing the underside of Number 21 and being sent to Hawaii.

Burton was running in front of the outside line with Brad Kiselowski behind him. As the drivers exited Turn 2, a push from Keslowski sent Burton’s car inside William Byrne. From there began a huge wreck that gathered Kyle Bush, Denny Hamlin and others.
As Burton’s car began to veer backwards, it overturned. Sunday’s 500 is the first points race for NASCAR’s new Cup Series car, and Burton’s accident was the first time a car spun like this at high speed.

Young American professional stock car racing driver Harrison Burton is doing wonders. The 20-year-old made his NASCAR Cup Series debut at Talladega Superspeedway this weekend.
And isn’t that wonderful? Harrison Burton found himself in the top five in the 20 DEX Imaging Toyota Super. The 20-year-old fought alongside AJ Allmender, Noah Gragson and Ty Gibbs during a 56-lap green-flag run.

When Jeff was touring the NASCAR Cup Series circuit, Kim traveled to the race with his son. It started with quarter midgets before moving to the late model and eventually the NASCAR Xfinity Series now, where the No. 20 team is sixth through 15 races in the championship standings.
