Career

Pella entered his first Futures competitions in 2005 and that marked the beginning of his journey. By the end of July 2008, as he had never lost a set throughout the tournament; he became the champion of F3 Futures Title in Peru.

In 2011 in November, he made it to the finals of his first Challenger tournament in Guayaquil Ecuador where he ended up losing to Matteo Viola in straight sets. This performance saw him end the 2011 season with a singles ranking of top 350 and one for doubles of 501.

He had his great breakthrough on the Challenger circuit in March 2012 when he won his first challenger title at the Salinas Challenger in Ecuador. Following this, he went on to win his first doubles challenger title over the Pereira Challenger in Colombia in April of the same year.
