Game
Green Bay got a performance of another MVP caliber from Rodgers, who now has 16 touchdowns this season against just three interceptions. The Packers’ defense after McLaurin’s game-tying touchdown, despite missing four starters, came with several important stops. After allowing Washington to convert his first two third-down attempts, the Packers kept the football team in third and fourth places for the remainder of the game, only 3 out of 13. Green Bay also placed Washington at 0 out of 4 in the red zone. D’Vondre Campbell led with 13 tackles, while Gary and Kingsley Keke posted a record 3.5 of Heinke’s Packers’ four sacks.
Green Bay’s offensive line also improved their defense in the second half. The unit did not allow Rodgers to sack the second half after being brought down three times in the first half.

Today
Two teams going in opposite directions meet at Lambeau Field on Sunday when the Green Bay Packers host the Washington football team.
The Packers (5-1) have won five in a row since their first match of the season was washed out. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Co. are in a 24–14 win over the Chicago Bears, in one of which Rodgers makes it absolutely clear that he, in fact, “owns” the Bears—to the tune of a 22–5 record against them. But as a starter.
Meanwhile, Washington (2–4) enters the game on a two-game skid, due to a defense that was considered the coming force of the season. The team is next-to-last in total defense, yielding a league-high 309.5 passing yards per game.
