The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the National Football Conference (NFC) North Division. It is the third oldest franchise in the NFL, dating back to 1919, and the only non-profit, community-owned major league professional sports team based in the United States. Home games have been played at Lambeau Field since 1957.

Vs arizona cardinals prediction
The Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals both control their fortunes in the race for home field advantage in the NFC postseason bracket. The Cardinals (7-0) remain the only unbeaten team in the NFL, with quarterback Kyler Murray’s maturity fueling one of the league’s most powerful offensive strikes. Wins over fellow Super Bowl contenders in the Titans, Browns and Rams made an early statement, with Arizona achieving a league-leading plus-111 scoring margin through seven games.
Green Bay, however, presents a different challenge, with quarterback Aaron Rodgers able to go punch-for-punch on offense through the game. After a Rocky opening game against New Orleans, the Packers (6–1) have won six straight, with their former NFL MVP throwing 15 touchdowns, turning the ball only once during that stretch.
Expect aggressive fireworks in a game that has winning implications for both teams. The Packers’ defeat put them three games behind the Cardinals, handing them a home-field tiebreaker, with nine games left to play. Considering that the Rams, Browns and Ravens are still remaining in the Packers’ schedule, this gap would seem too large to make up.
Vs cardinals
The Packers have been a formidable tackle team in the first seven games, led by almost perfect efforts from D’Vondre Campbell and Adrian Amos. Cardinals slot receiver Rondell Moore is going to put the Packers’ tacklers to the ultimate test. The rookie is nothing short of dynamic with the ball in his hands. He has 304 receiving yards so far this season, and after 266 catches, has come according to pro football focus. Only three receivers have more yards after catches this season. With an average depth of target of 2.1 yards, Moore averages 10.2 yards per catch per catch. The Cardinals are getting him the ball early and letting him go to work. The Packers — and defensive backs in particular — would be better prepared to tackle Moore when he gets the ball into space on Thursday night.

The Cardinals were dealt a major blow on Wednesday with the news that J.J. Watts will miss Thursday night’s game. Watt, an elite interior defender, leads the Cardinals under total pressure, and he has the third-highest pass-rush win rate among defensive linemen in the NFL. The Packer’s internal offensive line is a weak point, so not facing Watts is a big deal. Would no Watt mean more clean pockets for Aaron Rodgers? The Packers quarterback is completing 78 percent of his passes and with a passer rating of 128.5, completing an average of 8.5 yards per attempt with clean pockets. Only Russell Wilson has a higher passing rating than Clean Pockets this season. If the Packers can defend Rodgers, the offense has a chance to score a lot of points even without Davante Adams.
