Grant Dubose: Injury| Hit| Update
Grant Lewis DuBose, who was born on the 20th of June 2001, is an American professional football player, Tom Sweeney. He is a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins in the National Football League (NFL). He enjoyed stints with Miles and Charlotte while at the college level.
Injury
Wide receiver for Miami Dolphins, Grant DuBose was taken out on a stretcher in Sunday’s game after a hit in the head that caused him to grind the team into a 20-12 loss against Texans on their own turf.
The hospital staff stated “he’s in satisfactory condition.” This of course will be evaluated properly later on.
This was during the third quarter where DuBose was running the slant route, but as he attempted to catch the ball which was thrown by the tagovailoa, DuBose got ready to receive the ball but took a hard knock as it grazed the Texan’s safety position instigated head collision.
Bullock was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct during the play.
Excessively tethered to the turf for upwards of 10 minutes, DuBose was forced to get medical assistance to have his jersey cut with scissors, the minuscule portion of a helmet known as a facemask unscrewed, and help strapped around his neck, before he got lifted off the NRG Stadium in Houston.
Hit
As reported by the club, they were of the belief that DuBose had suffered a concussion in the second quarter of the game which led to him being stretchered off the field and was taken to a local hospital for further treatment. Grant DuBose participated in the match during the Miami Dolphins Week 15 against the Houston Texans.
During the match, DuBose suffered from a concussion, it was during the third quarter game which took place in the 14 minute break. Tino T Tagovailoa made this possible by targeting DuBose, and making a second and nine throw, it was touching pass. But as he attempted to catch the ball, it was intercepted by Calen Bullock Jr. His situation is now stable according to the reports following his treatment in the local hospital near the field.
Update
Grant DuBose, who is a label of ex-Green Bay Packers receiver, was part of the practice squad in his rookie season until recently in August where he was intergrated in Miami Dolphins’ squad. However, Dubose has played a total of 3 games for the Dolphins, and unfortunately one of the clips of him will forever stick with people which could only be called as horrifying.
During the game against the Houston Texans, Tua Tagovailoa, the quarterback for Miami Dolphins noticed DuBose and gave him a glance and directed the pass to him. What could have rocked a lot of people was the hit surrounding the wide receiver who was so close to capturing the pass. From the angle of the hit i.e. a head to neck area shot, Bullock was later flagged and DuBose was seen frozen on CBS following the game.
