The Golden State Warriors posted their most complete team performance of the season on Wednesday night, improving 6-1 to beat the Charlotte Hornets 114-92. Jordan Poole and Gary Peyton II would appropriately get the bulk of the spotlight, but nearly all contributed.
So let’s grade them all, and as always, we’ll weigh in based on expectations.
Drummond Green
35 minutes, 5 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal, 3 turnovers, 2 fouls, 2-for-5 shooting, 1-for-3 free throws, 26
Drummond was everywhere, as we have come to expect him. He was mixing it with the big one, catching the rebound and batting the balls. He was washing dishes off the halfcourt and leading the break. He was playing divine defense, even though that was the rare night where he probably wasn’t the dubs’ best defender.
The scoring was a bit low, and you would want to see low turnover, but it was quality basketball.

The Golden State Warriors looked exceptional in their 114-92 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday night, and it wasn’t just because they played their best game of the season.
They just looked good too. Like, literally.
Dubs donned his new City Edition jersey, which featured a healthy dose of black paint, some gold trim that pops, throwback lightning bolts running down the side, and a prominent bridge view.
They were looking awesome. But don’t just listen to me for this. According to the latest SB Nation Reactions poll, over 80% of voted Warriors fans love the new jersey.
