One hand catch

The Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver caught on Thursday Night Football with a hand similar to the iconic grab obj he did with the New York Giants in 2015. Beckham Jr. himself reacted to the catch on social media, tweeting, “This catch is dirty.”

With Pickens on the go-route, Steelers quarterback Mitch Trubisky tosses a ball to the side. Pickens was laid out for a full-extension, one-handed catch, securing the ball against his chest as it fell to the ground.

The 36-yard reception put the Steelers in the red zone, eventually setting up a five-yard touchdown run by Nazi Harris to level the score 7-7 in the first quarter.

Pickens, who was drafted by the Steelers out of Georgia in the second round of the 2022 draft, entered Thursday’s game with two receptions for 26 yards. He surpassed that total with a catch that would be the first of many highlight-reel grabs in his career.

Odell Beckham Jr. yells at Steelers’ George Pickens for ‘filthy’ 1-handed catch

Odell Beckham Jr. knows a few things about pulling down a ridiculous catch, and he was even amused by George Pickens’ ridiculous one-handed catch during Thursday Night’s Football matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns.

But it is rumored that his father’s name is Carl Pickens, who also played as a wide receiver in the National Football League for several years. On the other hand, the name of George’s mother is still unknown. George has never been found talking about his parents in public forums.

Since he has kept his personal life hidden from the public or limelight, it is difficult to know more about the parents of the player. Similarly, Geroge’s parents have not been mentioned in any of his social media posts. Hence, it becomes difficult to know about them properly.

We can only assume that his parents supported him and helped him choose a professional path in such a situation. That being said, the exact information about her parents is still unknown to many.
