Tight end university
For the second year in a row, the top tight ends in the world will descend on Nashville for tight end universities. “TEU” will take place June 22-24 at Vanderbilt University in Music City. More than 50 tight ends ran last summer, and San Francisco 49ers founder George Kittel, Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kels and Greg Olsen are expecting more this year.
“We are excited to bring TEU back for the second year in a row,” Kittel said in a press release. “Last year the demand was high and the consensus among attendees was overwhelmingly positive. We are making it an annual tradition for the best professional tight ends across the country to come together, learn from each other and have a great time in the process. look forward for. .”
Apart from partying in the city, the tight end will watch movies, practice on the field and discuss how to move forward with his body, his skills and the situation as a whole.
Injury updates
Kittel attended practice throughout the week and is not listed in Sunday night’s injury report against the Broncos. Coach Kyle Shanahan said Kittel is “good to go” with no restrictions, preparing Kittel to make his 2022 regular season debut.
Calf injury
San Francisco 49ers star tight end George Kittel will miss the second straight game with a groin injury.
Kytel is inactive for Sunday’s San Francisco game against the Seattle Seahawks after being listed as suspicious on an injury report. Kittel also missed the season opener in Chicago after injuring him in practice earlier that week.
Kittel’s injury left the Niners without two of the players in their best offensive skill position, running back Elijah Mitchell on injured reserve with a knee injury.
Kittel has been disrupted in recent years due to injuries. He missed three games last season with a calf injury, eight games in 2020 with a knee and leg injury, and three games in 2019 with a groin injury.
He took 71 catches for 910 yards and six touchdowns in 14 matches last season. His 335 catches rank third in all tight ends in that period since entering the league in 2017, and he is second with 4,489 yards.
