Gary Peyton II may be flying under the radar of most NBA fans—but he’ll be flying a thunderstorm over each of his heads at some point this season. The 29-year-old is having astonishing success with the Golden State Warriors.

Standing at 6’3″ and never seen as a threat at NBA level, Peyton has been shocking opponents with his bounce. His vertical measured 38.5 inches during the draft combine in 2016, but it looks like the GP2 never stops leaping to sink.

Peyton’s athleticism was on full display against the Minnesota Timberwolves. A lob pass from Stephen Curry saw Peyton Cock back with two hands before bursting onto the rim on a fastbrake. The same game, GP2 caught a reverse lob outside of set play, with recent dubs going on that asks him to slide down a screen and catch a lob.

Yes, the Warriors have a play dedicated to flipping a lob to their 6’3″ point guard. And yes, it has worked every time.
