Gary Payton has two sons named Gary Payton Jr.

Basketball Hall of Famer Gary Peyton has apparently followed in his footsteps with regards to naming his children, taking his first step towards becoming the basketball version of George Foreman.

According to ESPN LA’s Dave McManin, Peyton has two children with the same name.

Of course, Foreman named his five sons George Jr., George III, George IV, George V and George VI, while naming one of these daughters Georgeta.

Now I’m wondering whether Peyton has arbitrary nicknames for each little Gary, as Foreman does with his sons.

This is the second time in recent weeks that Peyton has made the rounds on a basketball blog for being weird.
