Where did go to college

Gardner Minshew: Where did go to college| Mustache| Quotes

Minshaw’s first two attempts at college football recruiting failed: his primary recruiter at the University of Akron died in a car accident, while the coaching staff recruiting him for the University of Alabama at Birmingham left the program before he could matriculate. Finally, in December 2014, he committed to attending Troy University and playing football for the Trojans.  He matriculated at Troy in January 2015, but left in May before playing in the game. In addition to describing Varsity as a poor fit,  Minshaw started Trojan quarterback Brandon Silver. , and they began to look for other opportunities.

On June 3, 2015, Minshoo signed a national letter of intent to relocate out of Troy and enroll at Northwest Mississippi Community College, where he would play college football with the Rangers in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).  Northwest Mississippi coach Jack Wright told Minshu that he was unlikely to become the starting quarterback there either, but he won the role a week after the transfer, with his competition also shifted out of Northwest. He completed 21 of 31 passes for 332 yards, including a 61-yard touchdown, on his NJCAA debut and was named to the Mississippi Association of Communities.

Mustache

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshoo’s future with the team is unclear after a disappointing 2020 season. While there is much to evaluate about his lack of production after a strong start to his career and which teams he will best serve, we are not here to evaluate his on-field work today.

Right now we have more important things to discuss: their new mullet.

Minshu is known for her intriguing fashion choices and her signature mustache, but she debuted a new look on social media this week. The QB showed off his mullet, which he traded for a now-grown mustache, calling the hairstyle a “Mississippi mudflap,” honoring the state he is in

Quotes

Naturally, the haters are out in full force, as they often have a bad night starting QB when everyone is watching. But Minshu had doubts throughout his football career, even if he was winning, so by now he has gotten used to it. So it should come as no surprise that she had the perfect response to said haters in a video interview with The Players Tribune:

“Vincent van Gogh, you know, people told him ‘You can’t be a great painter, you only have one ear.’ You know what he said? ‘I can’t hear you.'”

And just like that, the minshu mania is back. How can you not root for this guy? Well, it’s not clear when this video was shot, but we’ll assume it was from before the season. But that may not apply any more, as Minshu is coming off his worst game as a pro. Let’s hope he returns in Van Gogh style. In fact, Minshaw may legitimately try to cut off his own ear, as if at the time he had hit his hand with a hammer in hopes of getting medical redshit. So maybe don’t emulate the famous painter to T, Gardner.

Last thing – in case you’re wondering, no, the Van Gogh quote isn’t real. It’s from “Dinner for Schmucks.” This makes it infinitely better.
