Question: What teams did Frank Reich play for in the NFL?

During his NFL career, Frank Reich played for the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, and Detroit Lions.

According to Clutch Points, Reach has an estimated net worth of $10 million. Frank Reich has earned this net worth thanks to his playing career, his assistant coaching spell, and his tenure as an NFL head coach. Furthermore, Reach comes from a rich football heritage. The NFL icon’s father, Frank Sr., was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1956 draft. Frank Sr. later retired in 1992 to become a football coach in Lebanon. His brother, Joe, is the head coach at Wingate.

Contract

Reach initially signed a four-year contract that will run until 2026. Special teams coordinator Chris Tabor will serve as interim head coach. Offensive coordinator Thomas Brown will become the team’s play caller, with senior assistant Jim Caldwell serving as his special advisor. Tabor wasted no time in making staff changes and fired quarterbacks coach Josh McCown and assistant head coach/running backs coach Duce Staley.

Carolina made the decision to fire Reich after just 11 games following Sunday’s 17-10 Week 12 loss to the Tennessee Titans (4-7). Reich was tasked with fixing Carolina’s offense and developing quarterback Bryce Young, whom the organization had acquired with four draft picks and star wideout D.J. Had separated with. Moore, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, failed to get the ball his way.

Head coach record

Carolina hired the 61-year-old Reich last January after coaching the Indianapolis Colts for five seasons, but he was fired after a 3-5 and one draw start last year. His overall NFL coaching record is 41–43–1.

Reich became only the third NFL coach to be fired during the season in back-to-back campaigns, following Chip Kelly (Philadelphia and San Francisco) and Ray Rhodes (Philadelphia and Green Bay).

Bryce Young, the top overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft, has struggled with weak blocking and a weak rushing attack in his first season for Carolina, ranking 29th in the NFL with 92.6 yards per game.
Reich handed play-calling duties to Brown and then took them back, but neither man could pick up the slack on Carolina’s attack.

The Panthers’ scoring margin is minus-119-points, second-worst in the NFL, and behind Arizona (2-10) for the league’s worst record.

Reichs tied the knot in 1987 while the Buffalo Bills hired him as their backup quarterback. The couple moved to Charlotte, N.C., in 1995 when Frank played for the Panthers. I settled in.

After Frank retired from football they made Charlotte their home base and remained there for 13 years. Since she’s been his wife for 36 years, let’s meet Linda Reich outside of her relationship with Frank.

Linda is President and Co-Founder of the Knot Today Foundation. The Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on developing awareness, prevention, and treatment programs for sexually abused and exploited children. The effort is based in Indiana, where his family was based at the time.
