Gore played college football at Miami and was selected by the 49ers in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft. During his 10 seasons with the 49ers, he became the franchise’s rushing yards leader and received five Pro Bowl selections.

He also led the National Football Conference (NFC) in rushing yards during the 2006 season and made one Super Bowl appearance in Super Bowl XLVII.

After leaving San Francisco in 2014, Gore played for the Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and New York Jets. He was named to the NFL’s 2010s All-Decade Team in 2020.
