Frank Clark: ESPN| Net Worth| Salary| Rumors| Contract

The Denver Broncos plan to move on from Frank Clark, whether through a trade or by releasing the veteran outside linebacker, sources told ESPN’s Field Yates on Thursday.

Clark agreed to a restructured deal on Wednesday that gives back $1.686 million in guaranteed salary, perhaps making his contract more attractive on the trade market.

Clark is the second pass-rusher the Broncos have parted ways with in recent days. Last weekend the Broncos traded Randy Gregory to the San Francisco 49ers.

Clark is in his first season with the Broncos but has only appeared in two games due to injury. He has already been ruled out of Thursday night’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs due to the illness.

He joined the Broncos after being released by the Chiefs in March after they were unable to reach a consensus on a re-contract with his agent Eric Burkhardt.

Net Worth

Frank Clark’s net worth is estimated at $74 million.

Salary

NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo reported Thursday, citing sources, that Clark and the Broncos have agreed to a pay cut that will reduce his $3.5 million base salary to at least $841,000 for the remainder of the 2023 season.

Rumors

The Broncos’ Frank Clark will be traded or released after a restructured contract. After already dealing Randy Gregory, the Denver Broncos’ fire sale before the trade deadline looks like Frank Clark is unlikely to stay with the team for much longer.

Contract

Frank Clark signed a 2-year, $30,175,000 contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, which includes a $4,550,000 signing bonus, $8,275,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $15,087,500. In 2023, Clark will receive a base salary of $1,177,500 and a signing bonus of $4,240,000, while having a cap hit of $2,237,500 and dead cap value of $5,450,000.
