The Formula One series originated with the European Championship of Grand Prix motor racing of the 1920s and 1930s. The formula consists of a set of rules that all participants’ cars must meet. Formula One was a new formula that was agreed upon during 1946 and the first non-championship race took place that year. The first Formula 1 race was the 1946 Turin Grand Prix. Several Grand Prix racing organizations set the rules for the World Championship before World War II, but due to the suspension of racing during the conflict, the World Drivers’ Championship did not become formal until 1947.

The win ended a 45-race winless streak – the second longest in their history – for Ferrari, which saw the team go through some dark times, notably finishing sixth in the constructors’ standings in 2020. “It’s a relief,” Binotto told Sky Sports F1. One or two was unexpected. I think it was a great race.
“I was expecting Red Bull to be even stronger. Therefore I think they were stronger, maybe they had some problems through the race with the braking system. “It’s definitely a big boost. The team has been united before. It’s great to see, but it’s definitely a big boost to move forward.”

Red Bull’s loss was Mercedes’ advantage, as Lewis Hamilton gratefully accepted an unexpected podium and new teammate George Russell took a career-best fourth.
And it was a triumphant return for Kevin Magnussen that took Haas to P5, while Alfa Romeo got both cars in points, with newcomer Zhou Guanyue scoring on his F1 debut.
Other star performers were Alfa Romeo’s Valtteri Bottas – who shares row three with former teammate Lewis Hamilton – and Haas’ Kevin Magnussen, who made it all the way into Q3 upon his return to F1.
Alex Albon emerged from Q1 for Williams as did Alfa Romeo rookie Zhou Guanyue – while there were some surprising eliminations to boot.
Bahrain Grand Prix
The Bahrain Grand Prix currently officially known as the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix for sponsorship reasons, is a Formula One motor racing event in Bahrain. First race took place on 4 April 2004 at the Bahrain International Circuit. It made history as the first Formula One Grand Prix to be held in the Middle East, and was awarded the “Best Organized Grand Prix” award by the FIA. Race has generally been the third race of the Formula One calendar.
The 2011 Grand Prix, due to be held on 13 March, was canceled on 21 February due to the 2011 Bahrain protests by drivers including Damon Hill and Mark Webber. Human rights activists called for the 2012 race to be canceled due to reports of human rights abuses committed by Bahraini authorities. Team personnel also expressed concerns about safety, but nonetheless, the race was held on 22 April 2012 as planned.
