However, it’s essential to note that this analysis only includes programs participating in all 10 varsity seasons, maintaining a standard for our rankings. Lafayette Christian is not on our list since they have only had a varsity squad since 2013, even though they have shown great potential.

The Cougars have had three head coaches over the past decade – Jabbar Juluke (2010-2012), Nathaniel Jones (2013-2014), and Brice Brown (2015-2019), all of whom have contributed to the team’s success. 

The team’s accomplishments include 5 state championships (2012, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019) and 4 instances of being state runner-ups (2010, 2011, 2013, 2015). Furthermore, their players have received 28 All-State selections, further attesting to their standing in high school football.

John Curtis Patriots

Under the steadfast leadership of Coach J.T. Curtis Jr. from 2010 to 2019, the Patriots achieved a laudable record of 113-13 (.896). This impressive winning streak reflects the team’s remarkable consistency and competitive spirit. During this period, the Patriots have been crowned State Champions five times (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2018) and have also ended up as State Runner-Ups twice (2014, 2017).

Neville Tigers
