Formula One (also known as Formula 1 or F1) is the highest class of international auto racing for single-seater formula racing cars sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). The World Drivers’ Championship, which became the FIA Formula One World Championship in 1981, has been one of the dominant forms of racing around the world since its inaugural season in 1950. The word formula in the name refers to the set of rules to which all participating cars must conform.[1] The Formula One season consists of a series of races, known as Grand Prix, which take place around the world. Occurs both on purpose-built circuits and on closed public roads.

Qualifying abu dhabi time
Defending F1 world champion Hamilton topped FP2, when title rival Max Verstappen was fastest in the first practice session at the Yas Marina circuit, with both drivers going to the season finale level on points for a winner. Let’s run with everyone.
With tensions still looming between the two title fighters and their respective teams, Friday’s practice was relatively low-key as the teams adapted to the track layout that followed.
Hamilton, who led the accolade on the track change, topped Alpine’s Esteban Ocon by 0.3s in FP2, with Valtteri Bottas’ sister Mercedes finishing third ahead of Verstappen at Red Bull.
Sergio Perez slipped to fifth place ahead of Alpine’s Fernando Alonso and Yuki Tsunoda’s AlphaTauri among other Red Bulls. Once again the Ferrari pair were evenly matched, with Charles Leclerc edging out teammate Carlos Sainz Jr., as Pierre Gasly rounded out the top 10 for AlphaTauri.

Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen’s fight for the F1 title has gone to the wire, with Mercedes and Red Bull drivers joining the deciding race to lead 369.5 points. Their rivalry flared up once again in a chaotic Saudi Arabian Grand Prix last week, where Hamilton eventually won, but not before he was swept off the track by Verstappen running wide. The Dutchman then appeared to slam on his brakes just in front of Hamilton later in the race when he placed first, causing the Briton to crash into the back of a Red Bull car. Damage to Hamilton’s front wing did nothing to stop him from taking his third consecutive checkered flag, and he is now the favorite to secure a record-breaking eighth World Championship.
If neither driver finishes Sunday’s race due to a crash, Verstappen will win the championship this season courtesy of winning more races, meaning there will be a thorough check on the first corner. Mercedes will be hoping Valtteri Bottas can put up a strong showing to provide some sort of defense against Verstappen’s aggressive driving. Follow All Latest Updates From Below Qualify:
