It’s that time of the week when the tight end mess is sorted out, and the passing of superstar Travis Kelsey sets the stage for tough times to come. Even so, we’re still tasked with figuring out the peak order of our Week 12 Fantasy TE rankings, which will hopefully help you find some sleepers and streamers to target.

As mentioned, Kelsey is out of action, but we should also note that Zach Ertz is out too. Noah Fant (vs. Chargers) and Tyler Higby (@Packers) are back from goodbye, and they both have at least some good matchups. Streaming is synonymous with this situation, so let’s fix that.

The Giants are unlikely to dump tight end Evan Engram on Tuesday’s trading deadline, just to dump him. He still has a lot of value for his vastly reduced offense, even if it remains unsigned beyond the end of this year.

That said, several league sources said they believe the Giants are open to tackling their former first-round pick (23rd overall, 2017) if they get a decent, mid-round pick in return. Draft pick of can be found. However, this is a huge “if” as whether or not there is a huge market for engrams is not very clear.

Tight ends are always a difficult position for fantasy managers, especially those who don’t have the top two or three in the league. Week 9 Rob Gronkowski, T.J. Hawkenson and Washington ended their truce. It’s always difficult to stream tight ends but there are some good options on the discount wire.

While you set up your Week 9 lineup, we’ll take a look at the best tight end streaming options available for fantasy football managers.

Jared Cook, Chargers v Eagles
Cook is in a heavy offense, and is likely to have an opportunity near the endzone. As the streaming tight end, you can’t ask for more. Cook is involved in a passing game in the middle of the 20s but the real value of the position is the touchdown. The tight end has only two so far this season, but there have been opportunities. More chances are expected for Cook against Eagles Sunday.

Evan Engram, Giants vs Raiders
Engram is going to be healthy to start this game, and that’s enough for the position to put him near the top of the streaming pool. The Giants will need all the help they can get with skill players, so this could be a strong matchup for Engram. The tight end is likely to go ahead after this season, so he needs some big performances to create a market for himself in the off-season.
