The Los Angeles Rams signed six-time Pro Bowl safety Eric Weddle to their roster on Wednesday after losing Jordan Fuller to an ankle injury.

Waddell, a California native, joined the Chargers in 2007 as a second-round pick. He quickly became a key figure on defense and helped the team secure the AFC West crown in its first three seasons. Waddell became a full-time starter in his second year, recording a team-high 127 tackles and scoring his first defensive touchdown. From there, he earned three Pro Bowl honors and two first-team All-Pro nods over a four-year stretch from 2011 to 2014.
